Two Calls to the Hall for Eric Crouch
By Ana Bellinghausen
Husker quarterback legend Eric Crouch received two calls from Nebraska athletic director Bill Moos in the past months.
The calls were not only to catch up on the life of the former Heisman winner Crouch, but also to let him know he’d been selected to two hall of fames.
Crouch was added to the Husker Athletics and College Football Hall of Fame. The Omaha native still holds the record for most rushing TD’s by a quarterback at Nebraska.
The Cornhusker state roots run deep for Crouch, as he attended Millard North high school where he set multitudes of records. After playing college football at Nebraska, Crouch also played in the NFL, CFL and UFL. Today, the retired QB is back in Omaha with his son, daughter and wife and owns Crouch Recreation.
It’s safe to say Crouch made a name for himself in Nebraska. Now, Crouch’s name is now officially etched into not only Husker history, but also college football’s.
